Personality: Leon is smart but lazy. He prefers to let others do his work or at least put it off if possible. This laziness might have contributed to both his Cyndaquil not evolving and his loss against the Elite Four.

Leon is also rather sarcastic and even a little rash and hot-headed. Despite all of this he (usually) knows when to calm down and help his friends.

One thing of note is his love of music, particularity Virbank City's Roxie, which is why he wears his headphones everywhere.
Backstory: Leon was born in Goldenrod City and, for the most part, was normal. His hero was Trainer Gold who was not only the champion of Johto but was one of the only people who was able to beat Kanto's champion, Red. When he turned 13 his parents gave him his first Pokemon, a Cyndaquil, who he named Spitfire. Leon immediately went out to start his journey when his parents stopped him. While they where fine with keeping "Spitfire" as a pet, Leon was not able to challenge any gyms until he was 18. Now keep in in mind his parents were rather strict about this sort of thing. No matter how much he begged to be able to challenge the local gym his parents forbid him.

When he did turn 18 he challenged the gyms of Johto and received all 8 badges though when he challenged the Pokemon League he didn't even make it past the first member of the Elite Four. Determined to grow stronger Leon traveled to the Sinnoh region's Twinleaf Town where an even bigger journey was about to begin....
