He got his cutie mark when his friends were needing a replacement for their guitarist and pulled him in under his disagreement. upon playing in front of the crowd he was shocked at how well he could play earning a standing ovation and his cutie mark for helping his friends.

Personality: He is very laid back and social although on certain subjects he does get very quiet usually when it comes to his guitar. But he's quite the fun pony to be around he loves adventure and getting to know others but letting them into his heart is something he tries to avoid. He's great at making conversation but ever since the accident he's very shy when it comes to fillies and has gotten terrible at flirting. If he does find somepony he likes he usually will write a song for them.

Backstory: Born in Fillydelphia to two earth ponies he was raised on a simple life. He always had a thing for music listening to the radio, and would always sneak out to go to some concert even though he was only 6. <br /><br />At the age of 9 he got his first guitar and started playing with it mostly just using it as a recreational item. His parents noticed his talent and wanted to enroll him in a band but Leo didn't want any of the stress. When he was 11 he fell in love with a young filly named Lily to him she was the most beautiful filly around but she never noticed him. <br /><br />Leo decided to get her attention one day by writing a song about her "Lilyflower" and played it to her when she had just gotten picked on by some other fillies for being a blank flank. Lily was touched by the gesture and since that day they spent all of their time together eventually getting to a mare and coltfriend relationship.<br /><br />On Leo's 14th birthday Lily gave him the guitar that he now carries today. It meant alot more to him since he was getting picked on and bullied for being a blank flank as well. Inside the guitar was a spot that had a note on it that said "Don't ever let the music stop." It would be the last thing he got from her saying that she had a feeling that it would be the last time they got to see each other.<br /><br />True to her words it was, because on a train ride over to Canterlot there was an accident causing the train to derail and one of the casualties was Lily. Since then he hasn't tried to find another special somepony and had moved out to Canterlot and started doing street performances. With the money he earned he now has a nice house and even gote the attention of princess Luna and even Vinyl Scratch allowing to meet one of his closest friends Minath Watcher. He spent most of his time following Vinyl around playing with the DJ when she needed a backup musician. His house had become known for a place of parties but do to recent renovations he returned to staying with his parents in Fillydelphia.<br /><br />Upon his parents badgering he accepted an offer to spend a three day, four night stay at their beach house. Upon hearing this he made flyers to send out for a special house party and he couldn't forget about the mix master herself or his good friend Minath.
