Appearance: Light Eye is a very short pony with a "burnt orange" color fure and a darker, red/orange mane. She has a complex, multi-tiered braid for her mane and keeps her tail in a pony tail so that it doesn't drag along the ground. Her eyes are a luminescent yellow that allows her to capture light easier. She's built a little bit more solid than the average mare, and is a bit chubby as a result.
Cutie Mark: A four pane window with a beam of light shining through it. This represents first of all her ability to create mirrors and windows and more generally her ability to understand the motion of light. However, it also represents her firm grip of reality and ability to see things given whatever information she has.
Personality: If you had to describe Light Eye with one word, it would be snarky. She is very intelligent and has a wicked sense of humor, with very little room for error on her own part. However, she is understanding of other's errors as long as they humble, but will spare no expense to point out your errors should you act high and mighty. She tends to play the straight-pony, commenting on the oddities that surround her, though she is rather goofy herself on occasion.
Backstory: Light Eye was born in a boring little burg on the outskirts of Manehattan. Her family were artisans, but she was never very skilled at any form of visual art. However, one day she and her friends were playing when a careless accident led them to accidentally break a window. Her friends began to panic: the window was an old and very valuable one. But while her friends were panicking, Light Eye noticed the discolorations in several parts of the mirror. Carefully arranging it, just managing to construct a stain-glassed window out of the pieces by paying attention to what was around her. The pony who owned the window was angry at first, but after seeing the newly constructed window changed her tune, and praised her work. On that day, Light Eye earned her cutie mark.
From there, Light Eye really took off as a pony. Not only did she learn almost everything related to window making, she also excelled in several other subject, becoming one of the most intelligent ponies around. She became a little too proud and began to earn the ire of other ponies, which lead her to eventually tone down the self-praise, and the help of several other friends made her realize the importance of other ponies as opposed to just her own importance. However, there was no denying that she was just a very smart person, and eventually she made her way to continue her education in Canterlot.
After completing her education, she set off into the world to try and create her own glass and mirror making industry, making beautiful, high-quality windows, mirrors, and other works.
