Species: Alicorn

Appearance: Light Star is a white alicorn, with slightly pointed wings and horn. Her mane is that of pale yellow with several white streaks resembling electricity, stopping below the top of her neck. Her tail is in a similar fashion except its long and touches the ground. Light has blue violet eyes ringed with black that stands out against her fur. Her eyes are pointed at one corner and she has five eyelashes. Her stature is like a regular pony's except her legs are a bit longer and thinner, more pointed as well. <br /><br />Her appearance gives of the look of an electricity mare.

Cutie Mark: Light Star's cutie mark is a blue violet star burst with a pale yellow lightning bolt diagonally placed over the burst.<br /><br />Her cutie mark symbolized her ability to perform electricity magic, as well as a joy for flying fast as lightning. (nearly impossible without magic intervention)<br />

Personality: Light Star used to be carefree, happy and friendly all the time, before life experiences warped her personality and she nearly went a complete 180. Light was happy and eager to make friends and trust. Her honesty was also a good trait of hers. <br /><br />Now she is cold, at times rude without meaning to. Light Star is hard to trust, great at keeping out the truth and telling lies, and spilling out dark secrets from so called friends. (Before she lost all and became friendless) She is not friendly, and usually denies all friend requests. If she says you're her friend or tells you anything, it may be a lie and she really doesn't mean it. Despite this, she was always really chatty and could talk on and on about crap for hours.<br /><br />Light Star was always chatty and quick to anger. Even some everyday things can make her angry. She also sometimes doesn't stop to think before acting, therefore resulting in consequences. These days her anger has taken a violent turn, and then things can get a bit... electrifying.

Backstory: Light Star grew up as a pegasus in Cloudsdale, leading a fairly normal life as a weatherpony working with storms and lightning. Someday she decided to move out to a more remote place and help with weather control. While flying one day, she accidentally flew through a lightning storm and was electrocuted, but miraculously didn't die. Instead, she unlocked her electricity magic and gained her horn, which she believed she didn't deserve. <br /><br />Her alicorn ascension didn't really mean anything to her, at least personally. Light Star decided that she shouldn't be seen like this in public, so she disguises herself as a unicorn and hides her wings. She attended a ceremony, but to her surprise it was rather a gathering of news. She learned that all the original five alicorns had passed, and a new ruler assumed the throne. A rule was decreed that all elemental alicorns were to be killed, and Light Star quickly figured she was one of them.<br /><br />Living in constant fear, Light Star's personality got a bit twisted, and gained some strange traits like an arched grin when seeing others suffer, and a tendacy to stare and narrow her eyes a lot. Living on the constant run from alicorn hunters, Light Star sort of perfected her elemental magic.
