Appearance: Has zebra stripes, dark grey coat and black mane and tail. (Thanks to Vixxen for drawing my OC)

Cutie Mark: Lightning has a cutie mark of a storm cloud with a lighting bolt in it (pony maker couldnt upload the cutie mark. see in Other). Lightning is of the pegasi that creates huge storms.

Personality: Lighting Blast is a quiet and strong pegasus mare which is unusual with ponies with a talent of creating huge storms. She does not like to fight other ponies, only if they mean to harm her or her friends. She can be nice at times and cold at other times. It takes a long time for her to open up to someone she just met but once she's comfortable with you hanging with her, she'll be the nicest and probably most serious pony you'll meet.

Backstory: Lightning Blast is a child of a zebra and a pegasus making an unusual combination of features. Because of this, she gets bullied and teased by other ponies making her insecure. With no friends to turn to, she suffered from depression while she was in flight school. She was too afraid to tell her teachers and her parents. One day when a group of bullies were teasing her, she got fed up and let's just say it didn't end well. Roof of the school torn away, huge gusts of wind and heavy downpour of rain. That's how she scared away her bullies, found out her talent, and got her cutie mark!<br /><br />Lightning Blast has a rare wing disorder making her unable to fly. So she stays on the clouds in Cloudsdale walking around the city. She hopes that one day her wing problem will be fixed.<br /><br />Lightning's mother had a unicorn cast a spell on her so she can walk on clouds and live with her husband and daughter. Her father works as a weather forecast reporter. Her mother just stays at home.<br /><br />Even without the ability to fly, Lightning is still capable of creating big storms in Equestria. From lightning to hurricanes, Lightning is there to help make storms.
