Cutie Mark: Lightning Shine's Cutie Mark is a Lightning Bolt. She works with Lightning, controlling it for good and not to destroy. She was left out in the dark for a long time in her early foalhood however, as she was 11 when she first received her Cutie Mark.

Personality: Lightning Shine is friendly and shows great care to foals. She is brave and is willing to stand up against the odds if it is helping somepony else.<br /><br />However, she does have a short temper and if someone does something that bothers her it is likely she can argue all day if need be for her cause. Not usually winning - but she will put up a fight.

Backstory: Lightning Shine's home was destroyed by lightning on a day of a storm. She has since devoted her life and skills to learning how to harness Lightning and use it for good.<br /><br />She currently works alone and has not made much progress on the matter, but she believes the many years of progress ahead of her could change daily life for other ponies.
