Cutie Mark: A sphere-shaped bomb charge with a lit fuse. His talent is his related to his thinking process and how he gets bursts of ideas.

Personality: Lit Fuse is a Unicorn that got kicked out of Canterlot's magic academy and scoffed at. As such, he can be a bit eccentric at times and misunderstood. He doesn't always get along with new people, because he is also very hyper and has a tendency to go off on a tangent - sometimes so much so that he never shuts up!<br /><br />When he gets worked up on a problem or something he is forced to think about, he may suddenly act jumpy (even noisily) as ideas pop into his mind in bundles and he mentally shifts to high gear. He is also however, lighthearted and kind, and tries to do the right thing when push comes to shove. He sticks by his friends and those he cares about - maybe a little too much for his own good at times.

Backstory: Abandoned at a young age at the doors of an orphanage, Lit Fuse never found out who his real parents were. The thought didn't occupy his mind that often as the love he received during his colthood nurtured him well. He always stood out from the other Unicorns - while not on par with Archmagi, his talent for magic and innovation was clear at a young age. He often tried his hoof at creating inventions and learning new spells, most of the time getting in trouble. Infact, that's how he received his cutie-mark. An invention blowing up in his face.<br /><br />It was clear that he needed an environment to hone and refine his intellect and curiosity, and so when he came of age he was put in the care of Canterlot's magic academy for gifted unicorns. His quirky nature got him in a lot of trouble, and he was never one to take criticism for his work. One night, he was working on an experiment with two partners. They tried to warn him about the nature of his experiment when they saw it going south. He didn't listen.<br /><br />The results were tragic, a magic explosion blew up the lab and some of the adjacent library (a lot of tomes lost their lives that day!), magical shrapnel from the blast lodged itself in his left hind-leg and caused a limp in his movement that can't be cured (even with magic). He wasn't the only one that was hurt; As his stubborn nature caused harm to his peers, he was dishonorably expelled from the academy and had a permanent blemish marked on his reputation.<br /><br />He left Canterlot ashamed, unable and unwilling to face his mistake. He now wanders Equestria in search of a new meaning - hiding how he feels betrayed and humiliated, how unfair it seemed to him that he was gifted at something only to have his gift - literally - blow up in his face.
