Personality: <p> Lucid is quite the jokester. He has a tendency to do many things without thinking, in which after hilarity ensues. </p> <p> He is very quick to grow attached to new friends. Despite his dimwitted nature, he is known to be quite loveable. </p>

Backstory: <p> Lucid Nightlight was born in Ponyville. His childhood was really no different than any other. He spent most of his messing around and pranking other ponies. </p> <p> He got his cutiemark one day after writing down some jokes for his standup comedy routine in a local talent show, which he got 2nd place. </p> <p> A few years later, Lucid was messing around on Everfree Forest when he came across Discord. Seeing an opportunity, Lucid challenges Discord to a bet. If Lucid wins, Discord has to give him an object of immense power. If Discord wins, Lucid would have to give up his memory. </p> <p> Lucid, being the trickster he is managed to trick Discord who gave him an object called the "Reality Stick". Of course, he has been yet to unlock the FULL power of such an item, thus giving Lucid certain limits. </p> <p> A few months later, Lucid volunteered to help repair Canterlot Castle after the Tirek incident. He working with some heavy stone when he accidently dropped it and crushed one of the other volunteers. </p> <p> Despite Lucid not being in any trouble due to it being an unfortunate accident, Lucid couldn't handle the guilt of having accidently killed someone. </p> <p> Unable to handle the shame he felt, Lucid used the reality stick to open a portal to an alternate universe, hoping for a fresh start. </p> <p> Lucid is happy in this new universe, he's made some great friends and has become a local comedian. </p>
