Appearance: She is a large unicorn with a slightly more masculine appearance than most mares, though she is clearly female. Her coat is a very dark purple and her mane and tail are a slightly lighter dark purple. Her mane is long and goes everywhere unless she pays careful attention to keep it in place. There is a silver grey streak in her mane and her tail. Her hooves are the same silver grey and poke out from her feathered fetlocks. (Not literal feathers, feathered like on draft horses.) Her eyes are green and usually look either relaxed or tired, but that's just the way they're shaped. Well, no, she is also usually tired, too.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a horseshoe on its side and a four leaf clover, placed together to form a question mark. The silver of the horseshoe matches her hooves, and the green of the clover matches her eyes. Both parts symbolize luck, and the fact that the horseshoe is on its side indicates uncertainty, in addition to the question mark shape.

Personality: Lucky Guess is usually pretty friendly. Unless she's sick. Or in pain. Or in a bad mood. Or if you rub her the wrong way. Then she can be rather nasty. But she tries to avoid situations where those things would happen. She also gets struck with occasional social anxiety, particularly when she's in a new situation. A combination of these things have lead her to shut-in tendencies in the past, so she's trying to get over them. She loves to learn and loves to teach, and other ponies are sort of necessary for the latter.

Backstory: Lucky Guess wanders around Equestria, researching whatever strikes her fancy. She focuses on wildlife, both magical and nonmagical. She has a little piece of property near Los Pegasus where she keeps some belongings, but she's hardly ever home. She's rarely in one place long enough for people to take an interest in her past. However, if asked, she would change the subject. If the pony asking was persistent, she'd outright say that she doesn't wish to talk about it. Some things she's very open about, others she is private. Whether she has any family is unknown.
