Personality: She's generally very quiet. Doesn't really talk to people much. Most see her as a bother because she isn't all that coordinated. (she reminds them a little of Derpy)<br />When she gets mad, though, watch out. She doesn't get mad often - it takes A LOT to get her mad - but when she does, crap just got real.

Backstory: Lunar Eclipse - Lunar at the time - was a very timid and scared child growing up. She felt like no one liked her because she was...different. When there was a lunar eclipse, which actually happened a lot when she was young, she was always drawn to it. She didn't know why; it just happened.<br />One day, she went to a shaman to see if maybe she could figure out why lunar was so drawn to these occurrences. The shaman told her that she had a special connection to both the sun and moon, which heightened during lunar eclipses. She left the shaman on a quest to figure out what exactly her "connection" was.<br />That very next lunar eclipse, Lunar sat in her room and basked in it's glow. She felt herself growing more and more attached to it, wanting to actually make one happen. Later that week, she went to Celestia and asked her if she could help in the making of one. Celestia, a little wary about letting an inexperienced alicorn doing something so big, reluctantly said yes, then proceeded to show her how to do one.<br />On the next scheduled lunar eclipse, Lunar performed it with flying colors. When it was over, she looked down and say that her cutie mark, the lunar eclipse, was formed on her flank.<br />From then on, Celestia put her in charge of the lunar eclipses. Lunar later decided to add eclipse to her name after getting tired of being accidentally called Luna.
