Personality: very kind. cares for her citizens. tries to do what she thinks is best, even tough that isn't always the same as others think its best.

Backstory: Luna heard about the pony called plasma who was showing aggressive behavior in ponyville. after going to ponyville she met this plasma. he is the brother of fluttershy and krystal. he explained that he had problems controling his actions becouse of a parasite that lived inside of him called gravemind. after that luna said she would keep an eye on him. she also met luriel and twister who were helping her keeping control over plasma. luna became friends with luriel and twister. <br /><br />after having alot of fights with plasma ended up getting both of them very wounded, luna even lost her horn at some part. luna finally achieved to get gravemind out of plasma. <br /><br />after that they became friends and even got into a relationship. they even decided to get married after a wile. Luna got pregnant with him. but it seemed that gravemind wasn't completely gone and made plasma leave Luna wile she was pregnant.<br /><br />luna got stuck in a depression. until one day she found spitfire walking around Canterlot with a broken wing. she was having troubles holding her overenthusiastic fans off her flank. so Luna decided she could stay in the castle. it wasnt long before spitfire noticed luna going trough a very hard time and decided to try and find a new love for luna. not knowing that in the end she herself ended up as luna's partner.<br /><br />Luna got the foal. wile being together with spitfire. the foal was called equinox. an alicorn. after what happened luna of course didn't want to have anything to do with plasma. this was not what he expected. he tried everything he had to make sure that he to could be the father of equinox over the big anger of Luna and Spitfire.<br /><br />even tough. after two weeks of being a mother the chaotic foal alicorn magic made a tragedy. she evidently made herself mature. by exident equinox made herself a grown up mare. but she never learned anything in the time she should be learning how to act like an adult. this didnt last long tough. her beeing an alicorn and the daughter of luna she was very eager to learn and learned how to be a grown mare in a fast rate.<br /><br />after a wile Luna met Lucas. A foal alicorn. she talked to him and found out that he didn't have his parents anymore from a very early age and was raised to what he is now by a dragon. the dragon wasn't friendly and hurt him whenever he desided not to follow her orders.<br />even tough he was a very powerful foal with the ability to use powerful magic. so Luna decided to take him as her personal student. witch started out to be a small competition between Celestia and Luna over who had the best student. <br /><br />he found out he had the ability to time travel and after a few times ended up in making himself a young adult. from that point off Luna forbid him to time travel and stay in the time he was now.<br /><br />a long time Luna and Spitfire lived happy together at the castle.<br />until something really bad happened. in an unknown way Spitfire got infected with some sort of darkness.<br /><br />Luna and Spitfire tried to deal with this darkness them self but soon got help from Luminous. a unicorn just passed her university with light magic. she helped controlling the darkness and after a wile fell in love with Lucas.<br /><br />the darkness showed himself as the god of shadows, Ebrous. who is apparently the Ex-husband of Luna millions of years ago. Luna lost most of her memories after Nightmare Moon so she didn't remember any of this.<br /><br />he explained how all of this works.<br />luna is the god of the night originally called Nyx wile celestia is the god of the day. every alicorn stands for a god. there are a lot of gods but not all of them are down on equiestria. a lot of them are still in heaven. Equinox was the god of souls and was originally supposed to stay in hell looking over the passing souls.<br /><br />Luna was stunned by all of this new information and of course asked if he could give back all the memories she had lost. he couldn't do that. all he could do was give her the memories of her that he remembers of her. even tough. their original marriage lasted a long long time. and it gave a very clear view of her past.<br /><br />Ebrous said he still had feelings for Luna. Luna declined his love because she was already in love with spitfire. Ebrous could not force this love and decided to just stay inside of spitfire and removed Spitfires soul. by doing this it means that Ebrous will always be inside of spitfire, but also making spitfire immortal. because you cannot die without a soul to lose in the prosses. <br /><br />he did not leave Spitfire and Luna alone. even tough he was not phisically in Equiestria. he was in his own realm. where time and space don't matter. Luna and spitfire got sick of beeing interupted and looked at by ebrous with everything they did. so they decided to go to that realm and create their own room. they stayed there for a 100 year. for luna this didnt have much effect on her beeing. for Spitfire tough who only lived 23 years before she met luna had completely forgotten about her past after those 100 years. it was like a normal pony trying to remember the first three years of his life. its almost impossible.<br /><br />now spitfire and luna are trying to get spitfire to remember everything before the timezone.
