Appearance: Somewhat small sized, but she's quite energetic to make up for it! She has a long and well-kept mane and tail, and is very flashy and colorful. She is mostly in different shades of pink and purple. A stylish trendsetter, she is well-suited for being a popular musician. The rainbow ribbon in her mane signifies her desire to be inclusive of everyone, without regard for superficial differences.

Cutie Mark: A vinyl record, for her affinity with music. She not only sings, but she has played the keyboard since childhood. For the "Shifted" roleplay, she has quickly adapted to playing a keyboard using her magic abilities instead of with hands--or hooves.

Personality: Spunky and adventurous, Magenta will sometimes be seen randomly singing for no apparent reason. Very friendly and approachable, she is known for being the wild and popular one who gets to know everyone. Very emotional, bad times will sometimes cause her to break down and need support... On the other hand, she is sometimes level-headed, and can be the bravest, most supportive member of a group.

Backstory: Created for the "Shifted" RP. When Magenta was a human, she was a beloved singer in a popular band. While not too well-known, her happy, sometimes even sugary music served to brighten many cloudy days for her fans. <br /><br />One day, one of the worldwide earthquakes that opened a dimensional door to Equestria hit her hometown. Curious about the warm, inviting light that emanated from the cracks in the ground, Tiffany (as she was called then) decided to venture forth and see what was causing it...<br /><br />After falling through the inter-dimensional portal, she was sorely missed back home on Earth. Little did they know that the candlelight vigils were not necessary, as Tiffany was now alive and well in her four-legged form. Remembering everything but her name, she spent a few days wandering the towns of Equestria as a brightly colored, confused pony; only to find that it wasn't all that different from Earth. Strangely enough, all her musical abilities had been retained through magic. Her flashy and bright fashion sense directly carried over into her pony form, with vivid body coloring of pink and purple.<br /><br />Having only spent a few days in Equestria, she has managed to get an eccentric zebra to obtain for her a musical keyboard she could play (who also gave her the affectionate name of Magenta), but she hasn't made any real friends. Not yet, anyway...
