Appearance: Marie appears to have a Spanish or Latin background. Her skin is tan, her eyes are a very dark brown, and her hair is thick and black. She isn't particularly 'beautiful'.

Personality: Marie is an arrogant, proud, and occasionally sadistic thirteen year old. She is not an easily likable person, and is generally very rude to everyone. However, in the few times her 'nice' side shows, she has proven to be brave and quick witted.

Backstory: Marie lived with her mother for twelve years. Her mother, while not directly mean, didn't often pay much attention to Marie. When Marie received the invitation to Camp Half Blood, she went along grudgingly.
