Appearance: (Mel was created specifically for the After Destiny RP)<br /><br />Mel stands at about 3'10", making him slightly shorter than an average pony of his age. His coat is a royal crimson colour with one white sock on his front left hoof and a white diamond pattern on his forehead. His mane and tail are both a lighter shade of brown kept at a medium length and very straight, his mane being shoulder length and his tail extending halfway down his legs.<br /><br />He wears a standard blue technicians jumpsuit, with a white lab coat over it. He also needs to wear glasses.

Cutie Mark: A computer with a mass of incomprehensible text. Symbolising his talent at using computers.

Personality: Mel enjoys being social and enjoys the company of people whom he can talk with easily about anything. But he is never one to readily engage in conversation and will more often than not need to be provoked into talking. He's generally acts easy going and laid back, not having much of a care outside of things that effect him directly. Though when things do provoke him to involve himself, we will always look for the best possible solution that will make as many people relieved as he can. He always tries to keep a sense of morals and ethics with him, but can set those aside in very dire situations.

Backstory: Mel had been surrounded by technology for as long as he can remember. He started to learn about computers as early as he could thanks to parental influence, and quickly took a liking to the machines. His ability to learn all about tech at an astounding rate made him also take interests in things that no longer exist but are far more advance than anything he could imagine. The technology developed by the Ancients. This curiosity led him to memorising the entire written language for the Ancients, being able to read and write it flawlessly.<br /><br />His aptitude and skills eventually landed him a job working at Icarus base as a member of the research team on Ancient tech as a translator and operator for any and all recovered technology.
