Appearance: Mercedes is a rather slender & well toned, athletic mare of a dark-blue coat & a long violet mane that drifts around and down her neck to lay loosely in front of her chest. <br /> <br /> Mercedes Bends takes much pride in her grooming and she usually keeps herself looking & smelling rather attractive as she can despite what little income she has to spare on perfume, make-up or accessories. While she does like perfume, she tends not to wear jewelry or piercings on the reasoning that they can give an opponent something to grab onto in a fight & that they interfere with her self described "streamlined look."<br />

Cutie Mark: (still not completely certain on this, so may be subject to change)<br /><br /> A ribbon opened at an ninety degree angle, with its center looped around and pointed towards the head. Basically a looped less than sign (<), that I believe is also a symbol for a gymnastics move known as the Scissors Kick.

Personality: While soft-spoken, she is anything but shy. Fully aware of her sexuality Mercedes Bends isn't afraid to flirt with both stallions or mares in order to manipulate & earn favors. Just be aware, should you meet her that her interests may not involve you, so much as relieving you of your bits or belongings. <br /><br /> As the conniving brains of the duo of her & Tiffany Twisted, it's usually her that works out the plans or finds the next easy mark. While notably more calm than her partner in crime, it is usually up to her to keep Tiffany from rushing off into too daring crimes that will either surely get them arrested or wanted for crimes too serious to serve time for. Instead, Bends's usual modius operandi is for the two mares to follow drunk or gullible, shy stallions out of the city's bars, flank them on either side, and try to smooth-talk or pickpocket them for all their worth. <br /><br /> The two mares are incredibly close friends & Mercedes does care deeply for Tiffany. Many a night has she had to spend bandaging up the latter mare's almost constant knife wounds from the fights she keeps picking.

Backstory: Mercedes Bends came from a rather decently affluent family & got her cutie mark at a fairly early age. For most of her early life it was apparent that her talents lay in gymnastics and her family made certain she practiced that at every chance she could. Most of her foalhood was centered around her parents & trainers insistent demands on plans to raise her to be a gold-winning gymnast. And, for the most part, so was her goal for a while.<br /><br /> But when Mercedes reached her high-school years (that is, of course, if ponies even HAVE high schools, but I digress!) she got that same rebellious streak most do, and tried to buck the responsibility put on her by her parents & set out to find the wrong crowd to fall into. In those years she met & because friends with the even more disillusioned young mare of Tiffany. <br /><br /> These days Mercedes uses her astonishing natural flexibility to charm hearts, make her a rather nimble hoof-to-hoof fighter, and easily evade pursuit of local law enforcement.
