Appearance: Given Meridian's short stature, her head only reaches the average mare's muzzle. Her mulberry coat matches quite well with her slightly darker mane that is always tied up by a blue band to keep it out of the way of her green eyes while trying to use her telescope.

Cutie Mark: A blue telescope pointed up to a small cluster of stars.

Personality: Meridian is somewhat of a night-owl given she can't go stargazing in the day. She pours herself into studying astronomy, geology and other similar sciences, skipping out on much else. She isn't exactly a shut-in, however she finds it difficult to have many social interactions when she is either sleeping or studying all day long. She's an optimist, however her mood can, quite literally, change with the weather. After all, she can't take very good notes of her favorite subjects on a cloudy night.
