Appearance: A young char-coal black batpony with patches of silver on her muzzle and flank that match her wings.

Cutie Mark: A dark blue shield with a light blue crescent moon. With Silver edges.

Personality: Some people would say that midnight is a little high strung, others would say shes down right grouchy. But in truth she a caring friendly pony. Its just that she can be a bit to serious at times.

Backstory: Midnight grew up on a small fruit tree farm in Hallow shades. She was the youngest of a large family. This would normally mean that she was picked on or at least treated like the baby in the family. But her older bothers and sisters where the best! They always encouraged her in everything she did.<br /><br />She liked the farm but that was not what she wanted to do! Her great grandmother was the local librarian and she always enjoyed listening to stories about equestrias past.<br /><br />Especially the part about Princess Luna and how she had taken the bat ponies in... But then became nightmare moon and was banished. She knew that a lot of children heard about the legend and thought that Princess Celestia had been to harsh.<br /><br />So when she was a small filly she decided that she wanted to be a royal guard. While this was not unheard of at the time. Before the return of Princess Luna Bay Ponies where rare in the royal guard. But that never stopped her and now that she is almost a adult the need to achieve her life long goal has made her a bit... high strung.<br /><br />And it seamed like her dream might actually have a chance of becoming a real chance when her older brother Duskheart got a position in the royal guard. Knowing that not only had Princess Luna returned to them, but not they had another princess, the one who had saved Luna. And that her brother would be moving to Canterlot to join the guard excited her to no end and after quite a bit of begging her family agreed to let her move with her brother to Canterlot.<br /><br />But that meant quite a bit of adjusting for the filly. Getting use to a city and new life.
