Appearance: Mirage is a griffon, so he's got some pretty big wings and a little tuft of brown fur at the end of his tail. His coat is a dusty brown, and the feathers on his front are a tan colour. He has small, faded, light brown swirls covering his coat, not feathers though. He is fairly tall, a bit bigger than a pony, and a little skinnier than a common griffon. He has a rough look to him, due to his feathers always being a little messy, and the rags he wears around his legs when he works. He uses them to protect his more sensitive fur from dirt and bushes, and for other various jobs.

Cutie Mark: None, just a normal dusty brown griffon butt.

Personality: He is fairly shy around new ponies, but he soon gets over it. He can be very pushy and touchy, often roughing up his friends. He is very sarcastic, and can sometimes be rude without realizing it. He enjoys doing daring things, as long as he thinks they are fairly safe. He becomes angry easily, and holds grudges for a very long time. He doesn't normally fight, and tries to talk, but when he does fight he acts almost like an animal, biting, scratching, clawing, and.. well, being crazy.

Backstory: He came from the deserts west of the Griffon Kingdom, attracted by the idea of the Royal Guard and travelling to Equestria, he settled down in the place most like home.. The desert town of Appleoosa. He now lives there in a cave he found, and works at the orchard doing heavy labour, and sometimes clearing the clouds or bringing in rain clouds, though he will never be as good at it as Pegasi.
