Appearance:

Her body is a soft midnight blue; though her hooves remain the same colour, she has been known to paint them gold to match her cutie mark. She is average in her body type, sporting a plump little rump, and a chubby round barrel. A body built for cuddling.

Mane and tail are both the same light beige, like an antique white, that shimmers in the moonlight. While she likes to keep her tail long, elegant, and neatly trimmed, her mane is quite the opposite as a short cropped style; she keeps it neat and trimmed as well, however her bangs fall over her eyes. Most creatures wonder how she manages to see, though the bigger mystery is what her eyes might look like.

Cutie Mark:

A gold crescent moon surrounded by five golden stars (spaced in the shape of a bigger star) that represents her special talent in specifically dream/mind altering magic; she is an expert with hypnotism, astral projection, dream interpretation, and insomnia, among other things. Though she sometimes thinks about opening a business around mental healing and theraputic aromas, she is not quite interested in settling down with that kind of responsibility.

Personality:

Moon Glow is a sweet mare, really, though she may come off as a bit rude. She's fun-loving and a bit of a joker, seeming to never take anything seriously. Marching to the beat of her own drum, she can usually be found wandering the forest near her home in Bucksport* or walking up and down the beach, watching the waves, especially at night. And while she may present herself as a care-free spirit there are much darker thoughts that swirl in her mind though she would never talk about them. She can be found sometimes staring into space or talking to some creature who isn't there.

Backstory:

Born in Manehattan, Moon Glow lived a very privileged life with her family's wealth at her disposal. She didn't have many friends as a filly, however, especially when it came time to be in school. You wouldn't know it now but the mare used to be a shy, closed off, aloof little pony who was often teased for the fact that she seemed to not only struggle to pay attention in class but she would become angry and almost belligerent when she was interrupted from her staring-off-into-nothingness and was often seen playing with herself, speaking to what the adults referred to as her imaginary friend. It was normal, they said. She'd grow out of it, they said. Instead, after a year, her parents withdrew her from school and focused on private tutorship in an environment where Moon Glow was responsible for her education, choosing what she wanted to learn and when. It proved to serve her very well but when she wouldn't stop being distracted or speaking to her invisible friend, her family set her up with therapy. Moon Glow's formative years were quite strange.

As she grew, she never stopped speaking to her invisible friends, especially when she was old enough to realise they were not, in fact, simply invisible or created from her imagination but rather she learned that she was communicating with the dead. It was then that she decided to secretly dedicate her free time to studying the apparitions and when she was finally old enough to be on her own, she made the choice to move far from the city to continue her work in peace. Bucksport was not only far, small, and on the water but it was a place practically no one had ever heard of. West of Whitetail Woods and just South of the Smokey Mountain, you can find the small hamlet - population 102.
