Appearance: She's the one on the left.

Pretty mare with an long, pale blonde mane with a indigo streak; pale eyes, and an aura of dottiness.
Her coat is Air Superiority Blue. Check Wikipedia.
Her demeanor is often rather distant and dreamy, and she has been known to make rather strange fashion choices.

Her prettiness is often rather offset by certain personality quirks or mannerisms, and she is often avoided or teased.

Look at the image provided. That's fairly close to what she looks like. Just a few tweaks to the colors and a streak in the mane, subtract the earrings and you're good.
Cutie Mark: A yellow crescent moon, the tips of which are connected with small white orbs. It represents her freedom of mind.
Personality: Moonstruck is the polar opposite of her older sister Sunburst, who raised her when their parents disappeared early on in life. Her head often gets lost in the clouds.

She's quite serene and innocent. She doesn't really seem the type to fight. At all. In any manner of the word.

Moonstruck believes in all sorts of nonsensical things, part of her inability to distinguish the real world from the fantasy ones she writes about. Her sister, despite her disapproval of all things nonsense and unreal, encourages Moonstruck to write, to “Get those rediculous ideas out of your head”.

She has an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest. She just tells it how it is, but don't worry, she's not entirely tactless about it.

Anxiety is almost unknown to her, as is stress, no matter how extraneous circumstances.

Kind and compassionate. Is always good at comforting upset friends, and rarely gets upset herself. Her unreality with the world protects her from the ridicule she tends to receive for that very unreality.

Due to the limited amount of reality the world she painted for herself contains, she has a strong tendency to break the fourth wall.
Backstory: Moonstruck doesn't remember much about her parents, who disappeared from her life at a young age, and was raised by her older sibling, Sunburst, who is only a few years older than she. Sunburst is Moonstruck's polar opposite, very practical and grounded. While not necessarily narrow-minded, Sunburst has a much more defined view of the world, and like Moonstruck, works these days as an author, preferring to write nonfiction and histories. The two are as close as any two dissimilar ponies can be. Sometimes, they even collaborate to write novels, and usually when they do, the resulting novel is a nice blend of their ethereal and grounded writing styles, resulting in best-sellers.
