Cutie Mark: A crow standing on a long sickle, meaning he is the guardian of death. However, it is hidden under his cape.

Personality: Extremely shy, but once approached shown to be gentle but has no sense of humor. Doesn't go out very much and enjoys walking at midnight in the EverFree Forest. Uses dark magic but with no evil purpose.

Backstory: Mortimer used to be the guardian of the cemetery, and still is. He likes to defend living and the dead, and to prosper at life. He nourishes with soul of the living but gets weakened when somepony dies. He is the guardian of the limbo and the passage to Heaven. He is inmortal and so is his crow pet. He sleeps in a coffin fashioned with silver skulls and black wood.
