Appearance: A galaxy blue tone on his coat and fetlocks. Though expected to be burly given him being a stallion, he has somewhat lanky legs and a more slender body structure. His brown hair isn't natural, though. It was his idea to have his hair color changed when he was younger.

Personality: Reserved and relaxed most of the time while keeping (or faking) an upbeat facade for everyone to see. Skylight would stay silent unless someone has a conversation with him but his more upbeat personality would more often than not be seen if he is unsure of how or where to start. Once he's sure about somepony's disposition towards him is a positive one, that's when he'll drop the act and openly share his thoughts but even then, caution was what he'd priortize. He sometimes become somber and serious whenever he goes stargazing or on a moonlight stroll. <br /><br />Don't ask about how anyone reacted to him growing up in Canterlot, though. It's a sensitive topic he would rather not discuss. He sees his opportunities to stargaze or stroll as moments when he could be calm and alone with his thoughts, even talking to himself aloud. It sometimes gets him into trouble with the roving night guards or sleeping ponies of Canterlot every now and then but it's a small pastime that he takes comfort in.

Backstory: Born in Cloudsdale but raised in Canterlot, Skylight moved away from his home at a young age after his father found a job that left him in the city of the unicorn elite. He didn't exactly fit in with the other fillies and colts of his age when he grew up but he found his calling when he discovered his interest in astronomy. It wasn't the most satisfying life when it comes to adapting to a radical time schedule of studying but at least he didn't have to put up with the ramblings and insults of the Canterlot elite when they were around ponies his age. <br /><br />That was just it. He couldn't see how he could put up being with ponies who looked down on him for no other reason than him being the odd one out in a school almost completely populated by unicorns. He had a few friends then but he wasn't sure if they saw him as one. Only came when they needed something but never around when Skylight needed them. It gave him some thoughts about going back to Cloudsdale where he would be more welcome. For the meantime, he still has his studies in Canterlot but he's always looking for an opportunity to move out, even for just a while.
