Appearance: Nightfury has a pure black coat with a orange mane and tail. He also has brown eyes.

Cutie Mark: Nightfury was only ten, when he discovered his cutie mark. When he was camping, he was amazed by the sheer beauty and rage that the flames of his campfire had. He then tried to control the flame, but he failed. After dozens of tries, Nightfury found out that he could manipulate the fire. The young unicorn then noticed that the sun was coming up and headed home. In the light of day, he noticed that he had a cutie mark, which was a ball of fire. Nightfury could only assume that the mark meant that he could control flames.

Personality: Nightfury is very strategic and is very manipulative. He will do anything to get what he wants, and is ruthless, in that respect. Someponies say that he may also be a bit of a pyromaniac, but that's just due to his abilities. Nightfury is also a experienced fighter, and always holds a grudge.

Backstory: Nightfury was born in Ponyville and went to school at the age of 4. He had very supportive parents, and one brother. He was somewhat of a loner, but he didn't really care. He made good grades. A few years later, he started going out into the everfree forest and camping there. it was here that he learned that he could control fire. Nightfury practiced everyday for almost five years on this talent. When he had the chance, the unicorn tried to gain power by becoming a member of Luna's royal guard. However, a young Pegesus, who Nightfury later found out was Tempest, had gained the final spot. He disappeared into the forest, and vowed to destroy Tempest.
