Appearance: A tall, thin, white unicorn. Her mane is flat when she's trapped in the dream realm, but when she's real her mane is vaguely similar to Celestia's and Luna's, but not quite that flowy. Her pupils are slits, like Nightmare Moons and her eyes are the same color as the dark red in her mane.
Cutie Mark: A vibrant solar eclipse partly hidden by a blue cloud
Personality: Evil. Loathes all ponies because they get to live. Her greatest fear is being trapped in the dream realm forever. Her greatest desire is to live alongside her teacher, Nightmare Moon.
Backstory: Dreamstream Whirl was suppose to be born a unicorn, but something happened during her development. She had a horn, but it retracted into her and disappeared completely. This had never happened before and when it did Nightmare Toil was born in the dream realm. Toil couldn't understand what was going on or why her world was chaos. Until one day, when she was still a little filly, Nightmare Moon came to her and explained that she didn't really exist. This infuried Toil. Nightmare Moon told Toil that if she pledged herself to the Eternal Night and to Moon herself then when Nightmare Moon returned to Equestria she would bring Toil to life. Without hesitation, Toil pledged herself, earning her her cutie mark and Nightmare Moon gave Toil her name.

Even though Moon was imprisoned on the moon at the time, she was able to teach Toil how to become an extremely powerful unicorn. Toil came to be when Nightmare Moon returned. She took over Dreamstream's body and grew her horn. At the time, Dreamstream was living in the ruins of the Castle of the Two Sisters, so Toil found no pony to harm. Her existence was brief as the Mane 6 defeated Moon and she was force to give up her host's body and return to the dream realm.

Ever since, she's been attacking Dreamstream whenever she comes into the dream realm, if she can find her. Toil also attacks any pony that enters with Dreamstream. She finds it quite enjoyable to haunt Dreamstreams dreams whenever she can.
