Appearance: He is slightly smaller than regular stallions which benefited his role as an assassin. His coat is dark as well as his mane which helped him even further in sneaking around.

Cutie Mark: It is a dagger which symbolizes his abilities as an assassin. (The ability to sneak around and make an unseen kill).

Personality: He likes to observe and listen rather than talk. Due to his training as an Assassin, he was always very skilled with a blade. Which is symbolized by his cutie mark, a dagger. <br /><br />Although he isn't very friendly, he is very protective towards his friends. Also, since he had a formal upbringing, he has learned to be polite to anyone he meets.<br /><br />He controls his urge to kill by becoming a serial killer by night, he targets other killers since he does not want to harm innocent ponies.

Backstory: Nocturnal was born into an Upper-Class family in Canterlot. He was one of three children and was brought up by servants since his parents were always busy attending parties or handling their wine yard business. He along with his siblings was brought up in a way so that he would know how to act in public and 'mingle' with other high-class Unicorns like himself.<br /><br />But that life wasn't for him, at the age of 12 (Human Years) he escaped from his house in the dead of the night. He stole some money which was just enough for a train ride to Ponyville where he met up with a secret organization of assassins known as the dark Brother-Hood. He served with them for 6 years until it was disbanded after Celestia found out about the group and all it's member's were arrested except for Nocturnal, who managed to escape. Trying to put his old life behind him, he started all over again as a tradesman in Ponyville.
