• Nox-Hene Dimer

    Miss Light Diamond

    • Age: 25

      Gender: Female

      Species: Pegasus

Appearance: She has a white coat that gets a little lighter around her legs. Her eyes are icy blue and her mane is black and a dark pale blue. She's a little taller then most and has very large wings. Her mane and tail are well kempt. She wears a silver bracelet that coils up her front leg, usually a sign of royalty in her kingdom. This specific bracelet was passed down by many kings and queens of her realm.
She wears a dark blue scarf as her kingdom is quite cold.

Cutie Mark: A blood moon. The Gypsies of the mountains (also known as The Mal) are quite a...dangerous group of people. Unlike other gypsies, they remain in one place, doing so they've risen to power and have taken control over much of the surrounding land. Her cutiemark represents her deep respect for those who oppose her and her kingdom as well as her power under the moon.

Personality: Though many believe werewolves to be...dangerous, angry creatures. Its quite the opposite for The Mal. Not every citizen is a werewolf. The royal family and the Akull Kontrabandist (Known simply as the Akull) are the acception. (Check out number 3 about the Akull)

Hene herself is quite gentle, calm, and can sometimes come off as shy. In one on one conversations she's much more of a listener then she is a talker. When she needs to address a large group she is quite formal and wellspoken.
In a fight with her (Which is rare) her personality changes completely. The Mal werewolves learn from a young age to control their power. You cant rid yourself of the bloodthirsty thoughts most werewolves have, however you can control when you release your bloodlust, which can be done in any form. Hene is quite good in battles, whether its with a sword her claws you wouldn't want to get into a fight with her.

Backstory: Hene was born and raised in the city of Stuhi. (Read 1 for more info) She had a fairly normal childhood...for a princess that is. Often quite pampered by her father, her mother much more interested in keeping her strong, she was the heir to the throne, after all.
She made many friends, most of which were just random citizens. The Mal were a very...equal people. Though some may be much higher in command then others they understood that deep down everyone in the city was a person just like anyone else. In fact, it was considered very crass and rude to consider yourself higher then others...to the point where you'd probably be labelled as someone everyone else should stay clear of.

At the age of five, Hene began the njeri-ujk tradition (Read number 2 on the Lore list). She passed the test and was bit by one of the few Eternal Wolves and became a werewolf. Like all others, her body rejected the poison changing her and she became deathly ill. Her friends knew of the process she went through and many found her much more...impressive. Though it was indeed considered strange or improper to look at people differently due to their class, most of her friends found her much cooler and more fascinating after this change...though she didn't quite know as she lay ill in bed.

After three months of sickness (The last two weeks of which she fell unconscious for) she awoke, feeling much more...alive. Being a five year old meant that she was overall just much more hyper and excited. She'd run a lot with her friends, play in the woods, and generally have a fantastic time...until the full moon that is.

During the full moon, the Mal would celebrate (Read 5 for more info). It was a time of good health, relaxation and a calm mind. Transforming into a werewolf is an incredibly painful thing and being a mere child...quite a scary thing. Generally the Akull would be the focus of the celebration. Their change would be greeted with dances, songs, drinks, and stories.

However, Hene, being a mere child...she hated every minute of it. First of all, she was upset she'd be missing all of the stories and dancing, second she didn't like going into the forest at night...she found it rather scary. Third, when her mother took her out places she knew it was because she had to learn something...and she never liked that. She knew her mother was a werewolf just like her father so seeing her parents change was never a frightening thing...however when she herself changed, it was. Skin falling away, pulling out our eyes, bones cracking to reshape your body...it was all a very traumatic experience.
After she simply forgot her life, like she'd been a wolf all these years. Eat meat, kill animals, simple things like that...but of course, her mother (who'd learnt to control herself like all other werewolves of the Mal) taught her differently. She taught Hene as much as she could about keeping control, remembering her life as a pony, and remembering life as a wolf after changing back.

After that night when the sun began to rise in the sky and her mother brought her back to the castle, Hene "Ran away from home" which of course (Being a five year old) meant she hid in the castle courtyard below a large willow tree...with a piece of cornbread and a book.
She thought about the change she went through, the little bits of what she'd learnt from her mother...and the night overall. The whole thing was like a dream. She remembered walking along the city wall, looking down at all her prey...well...what she thought was prey at the time.
She cried...and cried. How could she have wanted to hurt her friends like that? Why?

On her tenth birthday, she'd learned to control her mind when she transformed. It'd taken her five years to get it down and really learn but she figured it out...she'd also grown much closer to her mother along the way. She hadn't however learnt to when to change. She knew enough to know that you MUST change at night. There would be no changing during the day or else that'd push your closer to changing naturally again...and much more spontaneously. You wouldn't remember things, your mind would go to the wolf and you'd change more and more often, night and day...after time you'd be stuck as a wolf. It was bad.

She was still quite close with many of her friends, some of which also went through the njeri-ujk process...it gave them a lot to talk about. She also began learning to fight as a pony, not just how to control herself.
She also took up some more...normal things. She learned to play the Duduk, the Accordion and the Piano. She wasn't very good at any, but she wasn't that bad. Though everything she could do couldn't beat flying. She absolutely loved diving from her room in one of the castles towers. Jumping from the balcony and diving down for the ground before pulling up to soar up the mountain. Nothing could beat the wind her mane, brushing smoothly past her wings. It was truly amazing.

When she turned fifteen, her life had changed rather...drastically. She'd learnt to completely control her transformation and her mind when she transformed...and she was quite good at it. She'd also learnt to overcome the pain, it became quite normal for her. She rather enjoyed being a wolf. Having the added muscle made some of her chores a little easier, especially hunting.

She also had a bit of a love interest. Zemra Zjarri (Though he just went by Zem). He was a few months older then her and they'd really taken to each other (He was training to be an Akull so they were both werewolves). He often brought her meat he'd hunted himself, which was a sign of affection and dedication. It was during the fool moon celebration that she first kissed him. They had both changed and were both off away from the celebrations enjoying some time alone.

Three years later he announced his love and they wed. The queen of the Mal always had full control so he didn't quite inherit the throne or anything, however he was to be recognised legally as the King. Hene was overjoyed. Their wedding was like all other weddings involving a werewolf in the Mal...rustic and a little dramatized. It took place on the full moon out in the woods. The two of them had changed and went hunting together at the end of the ceremony (read 4 for more information).

On her twentieth birthday, Hene inherited the throne...at that time, the Nero Rosa kingdom declared war on the Mal (read 4 for more about the Nero Rosa). The Mal (more specifically the city of Stuhi) prepared for war. Hene herself (Being queen) fought in this war. It was considered very weak if the ruler of a kingdom did not fight, but she did...and she did a damn good job.

The battle went on for twelve days, many of the Mal were killed, but for every person part of the Mal killed, three of the Nero Rosa were killed as well.
The battle would have gone on, if Zem hadn't been killed. His back was broken and his head was crushed by a Nero Berserker, a large creature made of rock and mud controlled by Nero Wizards.
That was the day that the Mal lost their beloved king...and what is now known as "The cycle of the blood rain" began. Every Akull gave in to the blood lust that ran their wolf form. After changing they allowed themselves to simply...attack, with no mercy, something they were kind enough to show before hand. Then the Nero Rosa retreated Hene returned home, but her troops didn't. She sent in reinforcements and made sure the kingdom payed. Fueled by their queen's rage, the Mal warriors entered the city of Rosa and killed them all, burning homes down, collapsing bridges. They wanted to watch the place burn. That was the day every surrounding nation discovered what happened when you messed with the Mal. That was the day Hene, the queen of wolves became the most powerful mare in the world. Many bowed to her as she walked by, but she hated it. She'd undo it all to have Zem back and to simply be the (Mostly) peaceful nation they once were.

It's taken her five years to completely recover. Many of the kingdoms closer by have made a truce with her and quite a bit of trading took place between them. Overall, Hene has learned to be happy again. She still misses Zem but has learned to move on, knowing that one day she would meet him again. She would be the young, adventurous girl she once was.
