Appearance: A fairly simple pony in size and coloration. Olive has a muddy/rusty coloration over most of his body with tinges of orange surrounding his face and hooves.

Cutie Mark: Olive Branch's cutie mark is a dove carrying none other than an olive branch. Olive is a mediator and he is proud of it. Compromise is his game and he will play it well until agreements are made.

Personality: Olive is an observer. He is not the sort to jump right into the action. Olive enjoys eve's dropping on others, not so much for the thrill of gossip, but so that he can know the "true story". He knows the value of trust and the impact of lies, and uses this to guide his behavior when presented with conflict. Because peace is always his main goal Olive will never attempt to lay blame one way or another. Much to the irritation of his friends he will not take your side just because he is your friend. In his mind the most important thing is finding the perfect middle ground to solve a problem even if that sometimes means not giving 110% of your support to your friends. As well as not choosing sides, Olive makes a point never to abandon a side either. Even if you are the guilty party Olive will still hear you out and give you support.

Backstory: Olive was born in Canterlot to Grape Vine, and Autumn Branch, however at a young age he moved to Ponyville with his parents. During the timeline of the show Olive is a foal, around the same age as the CMC. Olive once had a terrible crush on Scootaloo. Olive obtained his cutie mark early as he almost always seemed to be at home with himself, and in tune with who he was. He began to realize as he grew that other ponies seemed to get upset in ways that didn't make sense to him. Often times Olive seemed to be incapable of feeling anger or being upset. This detachment from overt emotion began Olives life long addiction to problem solving through peaceful means. If nopony else could look at an issue through calm eyes, than by Celestia, Olive was going to do it for them. In his adulthood Olive works as a funeral director for Ponyville, and some of the surrounding area. He takes great delight in bringing some sense of closure to a pony who has just lost a beloved family member.
