Appearance: Before he went crazy he used t look fairly normal, blonde mane, dark red coat, green eyes. Now he has dark grey sclera which glow with dark blue magic. His shirt is much dirtier and slightly burned.

Cutie Mark: A black hole trying to consume the stars. It used to symbolise his desire to constantly overcome obstacles in his way. Now to him it is just a mark; with no purpose.

Personality: Before going crazy he used to be a loving husband and father who would always put his family and friends before himself. Now he is a selfish and self-preserving pony who literally drains life from other ponies to survive.

Backstory: Omega Nexus was born on a world far from Equestria; called Gielinor (a world which was also inhabited by ponies). He was found by the residents of a small farming village as a colt, and was raised as one of their own and eventually met a mare named Palkeera and started a family. He had three sons; Dusty Skies, Zarosian (This was not his original name, but the name he took years later) and Zamorak.<br />He raised them while using his magic to benefit the town. Omega however was secretly suffering from a mental disorder; battling a second half of himself inside his own head, five years later he lost this battle and his other half went on a rampage; destroying the town, killing his wife and eldest son while leaving his two younger sons, aged 5 and 3 homeless and orphaned.<br />Omega eventually found his way to Equestria, using his dark magic to drain the life force of ponies who were unfortunate enough to come across him. He found a decent sized cave up in the mountains; went back down into the nearest town and spread rumours of a great and vast treasure in the cave; before walking back up into the mountain and settling down in the cave.These rumours would eventually go on to become local legend, he spread them for the purpose of attracting unsuspecting ponies up to the cave to further contribute to his life force.<br /><br />In modern days, Zarosian goes to investigate the disappearances in the town near the cave's mountain; his younger brother Zamorak had already been investigating the disappearances and they decided to work together despite their past differences (see Zarosian's backstory). They went into the cave and found Omega Nexus; he expressed his disgust with what his children had become ("So what have we here? A general of a destroyed empire, and a usurper who lusts for chaos, how ashamed I am to call you my children!") Omega fought with his children; ultimately loosing and momentarily regaining his sanity. During this moment of sanity he expressed how proud he was of what his children had become, told them he loved them before ending his own life.
