• Peanut Butter Gryphon

    Rainb0wdashie

    • Age: Young adult, around 20

      Gender: Female

      Species: Non-Pony

Appearance: As a griffon, PB has the head, wings and feet of an eagle and the body and tail of a lion. Her feathers and coat colors and textures have an interesting characteristic in that the particular shade of brown make them appear to have the color and appearance of peanut butter

Personality: She is playful and competitive around ponies and griffons she likes. However, she is also very rude and bad-tempered to those she doesn't like, but tries to hide that by acting friendly.

Although, if you pester her or get her angry enough, she will most likely show her true colors.

Backstory: Abbey Griffin is PB's birth name, but since she attended Junior Speedsters Flight camp where she acquired the nickname 'Peanut Butter Griffin" for her unique appearance, she has used the name ever since.

She is very embarrassed of her birth name, and chooses to go by 'Peanut Butter', "PB" or "PBG". Only a few know her real name, including her parents and a few of her friends back in the griffon kingdom

---

A bit of a reclusive introvert and, at times, argumentative, Peanut Butter Griffon is typically considered unapproachable, arrogant, and rude.

Many ponies and griffons consider PB to be a friend, despite her unpleasant demeanor, although PB rarely shares the same sentiments towards another. It’s not that she has trouble making friends, and the fiery parts of her personality only show during an argument, PB just has trouble maintaining friendships in her head. She could go a week or even a few months with another pony, and on the surface they would appear to be the best of friends, but inside PB would most likely be stewing on something insignificant like a certain tone of voice her friend took with her in a conversation three weeks ago, or how she doesn’t like how somepony chooses to spend their free time when they aren’t spending time together.

A therapist once said that due to moving every two to three years as a child, living with a demeaning step-parent, and not being able to establish healthy relations with others foals and griffon cubs, that PBG has an aversion to new relationships and has a tendency to look for faults and flaws on the relationship before she can become too close to somepony else. and diagnosed her with Avoidant Personality Disorder; claiming she was “self-critical about problems relating to others, hyper sensitive to rejection and criticism, mistrustful of others, Lonely self-perceptive - although others may find the relationship with her meaningful, suffering from feelings of inadequacy and severe low self esteem, and avoidant of physical contact because it has been associated with an unpleasant or painful stimulus from her past”

But PB didn’t take too kindly to the diagnosis and stormed out of the doctor’s office when he suggested she be subjected to social skill training and cognitive therapy.

Her friends don’t know this, however. She doesn’t let anypony know about the things the doctor told her and tries her best to put on a tough act. To her friends, she is everything she appears to be on the surface: playful, competitive, and a little bit rude. But most of her friends she keeps at an arm’s length

When confronted, or when she feels somepony has slighted her, her immediate reaction is to push them away; either through insults, heated threats, and sometimes even physical violence. She is loud, brash and cocky, but more often than not, she tends to stay to herself.
