Appearance: She's the epitome of grace and elegance - slender ankles, delicate features, and a thick mane of green-streaked hair which is usually styled blowzily or kept pinned back in a knot. Her makeup is professionally done, and she keeps her mane and tail conditioned to give it a luxurious shine. <br /><br />She loves dressing up, and will usually be wearing an elaborate dress or other outrageous article of clothing, and there's really nothing you can say to stop her. <br /><br />That being said, she is quite pretty, with thick eyelashes and rather smoldering vibrant green eyes.

Cutie Mark: It's a green peppermint candy. She discovered it one rainy afternoon in her uncle's candy shop, after spending three hours tediously unwrapping six hundred peppermints in order to crush them into enough peppermint powder for the cookie recipe she wanted. Her special talent is extreme tenacity - some would almost say stupidly stubborn. <br /><br />When she found her cutie mark on her flank, she was both pleased and disappointed. After all, a green peppermint wasn't exactly the most appealing thing to appear on one's flanks, now is it?

Personality: As mentioned before, Peppery is incredibly stubborn. She'll go out of her way to hold firm to her opinions, and is rather argumentative when someone doesn't agree with her. Of course, her pigheadedness gets on most ponies nerves; even when her opinions are wrong, she'll stand by them. Then in a week, her mind will abruptly change and she'll insist that's the way she's always thought. <br /><br />Like any good Canterlot elite, she's obsessed with fashion. Hair, makeup, clothes, you name it. She can recommend designers and has a fondness for ruffles and bows, enhancing her girlish qualities instead of her bold stubbornness. Peppery once went shopping with Fancypants and came back the next day with almost a hundred bags of accessories, and spent the next year regaling her family with tales of her adventure. <br /><br />She loves a good flirt almost as much as a good fight, and her stubbornness applies to stallions as well as the rest of her life. Once she makes up her mind about having a colt, she'll do whatever it takes to get him interested in her. Once he's fallen for her, she loses interest. It's a hobby she's working on. <br /><br />Ponies tend to write her off as the rebellious, spoiled youngest foal of the Mints, and they'd mostly be right. But beneath the fluff and pettiness, she's the loyalist friend anypony could ask for, and she wouldn't think twice about bucking an enemy into a nearby ditch.

Backstory: The Mints are an uppercrust family, determined to be counted among the highest social class of Canterlot. They didn't have to try hard - they have old money, invested in the alfalfa business, which makes them considerably earthier than the other Canterlot ponies. <br /><br />They have six foals - five colts, and one little filly who was the "runt of the litter". This feisty little filly was named Peppery, and she grew up very spoiled and protected by her five older brothers. She witnessed their roughhousing, and discovered that she could get them to do virtually anything by screwing up her face and looking pouty. In that way, she was well into high school before anypony ever turned her down.<br /><br />Being Peppery, she was determined that nopony would ever say no to her, and for most of her life, she got along fine. <br /><br />And then her parents divorced. <br /><br />Divorce isn't horrible common in Equestria, and it send shockwaves through their entire neighborhood. Her five brothers had already dispersed throughout Equestria, and all of them offered places in their homes to her. Instead of taking any of them up on their offers, Peppery struck off on her own, hurt and feeling betrayed by her parents, until she arrived in Ponyville. <br /><br />Now, she's deeply in debt, relying on her wily charms and tenacity to make a home for herself amid the dirt roads and cows. Still, she excels at complaining, and has driven half the residents of Ponyville insane with her complaints. If she weren't so stubborn, she would be in Trottingham with her favorite brother in the lap of luxury, but she doesn't want to stoop to such a level.
