Appearance: Phoenix Flare is a light yellow pegasus, with an orange mane, and green eyes.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a flame, and it represents her ability to both start and snuff out fires, or her ability to deal with fire. This comes in handy, as she is a Firefighter with the Emergency Response Team of Equestria (ERTE).

Personality: She is an independent mare who can fend for herself, but at the same time the thing that terrifies her most is one day being all alone. She is a hyper pony, but also a bit clumsy, as she sometimes gets carried away in her hype and may forget to be careful. She is somewhat socially reserved, if she doesn't know you she won't be her true self around you. But if you are her friend, she will take the facade off, and be her true self around you.

Backstory: General Cannon Backstory<br />------------------------<br />Phoenix Flare was born in Canterlot. Ever since she was a little foal, she was groomed to be a wife to a wealthy stallion. But as she began to grow older, she rejected what her parents wanted for her most and fled from home. She made it to a forest on the outskirts of Canterlot before passing out. When she came to she found that her lungs were filled with smoke. The forest that she was in had caught fire, and she couldn't move due to fear. Lucky for her, the Emergency Response Team of Equestria had sent out a few firefighters to extinguish the flames. One of the pegasus firefighters swooped down and scooped her off of the ground and took her to a safe cloud. When the firefighter went down to help put out the fire, a tree fell upon him and walls of flames surrounded him. Seeing this sparked something in Phoenix Flare. She flew as fast as she could to a large pond that was nearby. She then began to fly in a circular motion which started to make a mini tornado. The mini tornado lifted the water out of the pond and she managed to control the tornado and drop the water on the fire that surrounded firefighter, extinguishing the flames. Other firefighters were able to pick up the tree and pull the colt who saved Phoenix out from under it. After this, her cutie mark appeared. The colt who saved her told her that she would become an amazing firefighter one day, and from that day on she dedicated her life to firefighter training. She entered ERTE Academy and graduated the top of the firefighter class. She was immediately hired as a firefighter after graduation. Her job pays well, so she is able to afford a decent apartment in Canterlot, even though she spends most of her time at the firehouse. She is regarded as the best firemare in equestria, so her shifts at the fire house can last over 70 hours at a time. But Phoenix doesn't mind, because she enjoys her work.<br /><br />The Other Ponies<br />----------------<br />The daughter of the grandmage Blaze Phoenixtear, and the half demon Deava. Even though she comes from powerful genes, she is about as average as a pony can get. So average in fact, that even now, as an adult, she hasn't recieved a cutie mark.
