Age: Although unclear how old she is due to being an alicorn, Princess Cadence has the appearance and personality of a young mare like Princess Luna

Appearance: Greyish Purple Eyes and a Pale pink Coat<br />Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Gold, violet, and rose. Her mane and tail are similar to that of Fluttershy except with a curl at the end. Unlike Princess Celestia or Luna, her mane and tail do not flow on their own. height between Twilight Sparkle and Luna and has a thin build. appears dainty, but can perform many physical tasks. Has Golden hoof slippers, a golden neclkace, a small rounded golden crown. These are not too ornate, mainly to accent her than stand out.

Cutie Mark: A light blue crystal heart embellished with gold patterns. This represents her ability to spread love to all ponies.

Personality: Modest, caring, kind, friendly, patient, confident

Backstory: Not much is known about Princess Mi Amore Cadenza as a foal, even how old she is exactly. What is known is that she always loved to see ponies happy. When a pony was happy, she would share in their happiness. When a pony was sad, she tried to help them overcome their happiness. She was always a shoulder to cry on, a helping hoof to pick a pony up, and a smile that could bring light to even the darkest days.<br /><br />Being an alicorn, Cadence's life was different from the majority of the other ponies. She was taught how to be royal through her actions, dress, speech, and mannerisms. Cadence, although not caring much for the stuffy formalities, did comply as she knew this was to better her in the long run. Thankfully, Cadance was taught these by her aunt, Princess Celestia. She was very fond of the white alicorn and often thought of her more like a big sister than simply an aunt. Cadence never knew previously as she was banished to the moon before Cadence was even born. She would hovever hear about her from Celestia, and often she would comfort her when Celestia missed her younger sister.<br /><br />Being an alicorn and a princess also made ponies treat her differently. Some would think she was a divine creature and worshipped the ground her hooves touched. Others scoffed at her, thinking she was too snooty to care about the other ponies. Cadence tried as best she could to break down these barriers, making her known as "The Ponies' Princess." She would often be out in the streets of Canterlot volunteering and just listening to the ponies' needs. But most importantly, she would spread her love to them.<br /><br />While she was still young and learning to be a princess, Twilight's parents, who were friends with Princess Cadance, gave her an important task of foal-sitting Twilight Sparkle. The two needed somepony she could trust and who would be a great match to her student. Both Twilight and Cadence became less like foal and foal-sitter and more like friends. She was very content playing with the unicorn, be it pushing her on a swing or games on rainy days. The two even shared a secret and funny little dance. It was at this time that Twilight learned that Cadence could spread love with her magic. When asking the princess if she could make a pony love she said,<br /><br />"Twilight, love is probably the most powerful magic out there. Yet I can't force ponies to love each other, nor would I want to. Love is like a flower. it needs time to grow. I with my magic just help it to grow while stopping bad feelings to continue."<br /><br />Twilight looked up to Cadence, often emulating how she walked and her royal mannerisms. In truth, Twilight wanted to be like her, but not being an alicorn meant that this wouldn't happen. Cadence, however, tried to cheer up the unicorn saying,<br /><br />"You don't have to be like me, Twilight. Just be yourself, and one day your light will shine out."<br /><br />While Cadence was foal-sitting Twilight, she also got to know Twilight's brother, Shining Armor. The two were friends, yet there was at that time nothing else beyond that. This was due to Cadence learning to become a princess and Shining Armor training to become the captain of the Royal Guard.<br /><br />Other than playing with Twilight and meeting Shining Armor, Cadence also met another important member of the royal family, Princess Luna. Luna was still readjusting to life as a princess and just being back in Equestria. She also was trying to cope with what she did as Nightmare Moon. Cadence was there to help her, being less like a neice and more like a friend.<br /><br />Sadly, with Twilight becomming the personal student of Celestia and Cadence now needing to perform her royal duties, the two had to part ways. Yet the two never forgot the time they had together. Cadence and Shining Armor's paths crossed again when the two got to know each oither at the Canterlot castle. Cadence went on a tour of Equestria overseeing its progress and Shining was overseeing her protection. Yet through this trip, the two realized there was something more between. They realized there was love.<br /><br />After spending time to get to know each other in Canterlot, Shining Armor decided to propose. This was a joyous time in Canterlot as a princess was marrying a capiain of the Royal Guard. Yet as preparations were underway, a threat to the wedding festivities placed Canterlot on high alert. Shining Armor had to leave his bride to be to focus on security, leaving Cadence alone. This prompted Crysalis to take advantage of the situation and upon capturing the princess assumed her form.<br /><br />Cadence felt the saddest she had ever been being now alone, helpless, hopeless, and knowing that her love was going to marry thay despicable creature. As luck or fate would have it Twilight appeared and got the Princess to the castle. Yet it was the love between Cadence and Shining Armor that defeated Crysalis and the chanelings. their power equaled the Elements of Harmony's power.<br /><br />Now with the wonderful wedding done, Shining Armor and princess Cadence are ready to start their lives together.
