Personality: Purple Pat was always the sort of mare to be expected NOT to voice her own opinions due to her timidness. Due to her submissive behavior, she is unintentionally walked over by others. Though she is known to frequently burst into emotional hysteria every once in a while.

Backstory: Born into Canterlot, Purple Pat had immediately been subjected to the: "Fillies/Colts should be seen, not heard" treatment, causing her to be extremely quiet and only replies with the usual soft and short "Yes..." and the rare "...No...". After showing great interest in studying, her parents decided it was best for her to be enrolled into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. During the exam, she failed miserably, much to her parent's dismay. When questioned about her poor performance she stammered the words: "I...I'm sorry..." and burst into tears. Her unappreciative parents then decide by themselves that she'd be better off in the "dirty land of Ponyville", where she was sent off immediately.<br /><br />These past events all happened when she was but a mere filly, how could her parents expect her to survive on her own in Ponyville? Well, that's all in the past now. Whats important to her now, is, well--NOW.
