Species: Unicorn

Appearance: Slightly shorter than average, weak frame, untamed hair. Oh, and please forgive the absence of a cutie mark! >.<

Cutie Mark: A cartoonesque black hole. This depicts the unification of science and magic as, within the singularity, the laws of physics themselves deteriarate. Sorry to get all poetic on you there :3

Personality: In a word, shy, and has issues trusting other ponies, from whom he usually conceals his emotions, although he is an empathetic and compassionate unicorn, where close affiliates are concerned. Perfectionist, reasonably intelligent. (This goes for when he was a colt too).

Backstory: Born in Appleooza to a pair of poor apple farmers, Quantum showed high mental capability from a young age, and he was admitted into the Canterlot School for Gifted Unicorns. Having been attending a school so far from home, he was forced to stay in Canterlot with his distant family, frequently moving between homes. He now works as an Arcane Physicist, studying the relationship between science and magic, and has not returned to Appleooza, although continues to support his family with a portion of his income from the quaternal sector.
