Appearance: Generally wears a Red scarf around his neck that belongs to his younger brother whom he lost.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a golden shield emblazoned with a black Alicorn along with a White Alicorn intertwined with one another. It also has Luna's and Celestia's cutie marks on it.

Personality: Radiant is stoic and generally rather serious. He cares little for conversation especially when he has a job assigned to him. Even though he can come off as intimidating, he is an extremely nice pony who helps out anyone in need. Radiant is also courageous and heroic.

Backstory: Radiant was born to a small family in the ruins of Vanhoover. Radiant was believed to be a chosen one by the elements of harmony, hinted because he was born with the ability of magic. He was protected by his family, which consisted of his mother and father along with an older brother. His brother always protected and looked over Radiant. Radiant had always looked up to his brother as a beckon of reassurance that everything would be okay. Radiant's older brother always wore a red scarf that was slightly tattered from his many ventures out of the ruins to keep scouts from finding Radiant.<br /><br />Once Radiant was ten years old he had learned some magic control on his own and basic combat but his family decided it was time Radiant received the training he needed to live up to his role of a chosen one. With a rumor of a resistance being led in Baltimare so Radiant's family figured that would be the best place to take him.<br /><br />The journey was long and hard on the family, constantly looking over their shoulder along with ducking in and out of cover. As they were almost to Baltimare, the family was seen by a changeling patrol. The changelings quickly swarmed the family attacking every pony in the group. Radiant's brother protected Radiant making sure to keep him safe as their parents were cut down before them. Both Radiant and his brother were badly injured in the struggle, his older brother fell on top of him. <br /><br />Assuming the family was killed the Changelings flew off leaving the bodies. Radiant crawled out from under his brother only to see his parents lying on the ground grossly mutilated. As he looked back to his brother he realized his brother was deeply lacerated over most his body. With his last breaths his brother told him to make it to baltimare, Radiant was meant for great things that would reshape the world of equestria. Radiant pleaded for his brother to hang in there as tears poured down his face, as he held his brother's hoof he passed on right there in front of Radiant. <br /><br />With a heavy heart and tears in his eyes Radiant took his brother's scarf and wrapped it around his neck, to keep as a reminder of his brother's dream of a better world as well as to have a way to keep his brother close to him. <br /><br />Injured and tired Radiant continued on to Baltimare, the horror of his family cut down before him weighed on his mind heavily. As he finally arrived at Baltimare he had changed mentally, he had become stoic and unmoving. Having witnessed the murder of his family affected he deeply and he was no longer the happy and carefree pony he once was. <br /><br />Radiant found civilization and was taken in, once the other ponies learned of his ability of magic they knew him to be a chosen one. Radiant was trained in combat as he trained himself in defensive magic for the next ten years. learning many different spells on his own. He dedicated his training and magic abilities to the defense of others to help keep other ponies from experiencing what he had to go through in his youth.
