Appearance: Generally wears a Red scarf around his neck that belongs to his younger brother whom he lost.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a golden shield emblazoned with a black Alicorn along with a White Alicorn intertwined with one another. It also has Luna's and Celestia's cutie marks on it.

Personality: Radiant is stoic and generally rather serious. He cares little for conversation especially when he has a job assigned to him. Even though he can come off as intimidating, he is a nice pony who helps out anyone in need. Radiant is also courageous and heroic.

Backstory: Radiant grew up for a while with a family of relic hunters. He was named after a statue that stood alone at the entrance of some ruins. In the right light it appeared to glow, standing out of the debris as a radiant sentinel of the ruins.<br /><br />One day traveling through the hayseed swamps his family was attacked by several creatures. Radiant ended up separated from his family. Lost he wondered for days almost losing to starvation until he was found by a few members of the royal guard that were patrolling nearby.<br /><br />Radiant was taken in by a member of the royal guard after being saved and was raised as a member of the guard.<br /><br />After years of training and specializing his magic, Radiant became a full fledged member of the royal guard. He eventually became a royal guard captain as well as a personal guard for Celestia and Luna.
