Appearance: This page is not for one character, but rather two. Rag and Tag are rarely seen outside each other's presence. Tag is the green-eyed colt, Rag the blue-eyed mare. They have grey coats and wild red manes and tails. Often they dye their coats as required for the roles they play.
Cutie Mark: The musical theater masks. Rag has the comedy mask - the laughing one, with a twirl of ribbon around it - and Tag the tragedy mask - the frowning one, with what looks like a spotlight behind it. This reflects that Rag is the rather more outgoing, daring, and sarcastic of the two.
Personality: The Twins are quite a wily pair. They're rather immature, mischievous, playful, and easily excitable. They enjoy pulling pranks on unsuspecting ponies, and joking around. They are quite skilled wordsmiths, and when they are agreed upon something, they finish each other's sentences. It's not often they're disagreed, and the pair are usually so in sync its like they know each other's thoughts.

Often, when they disagree with each other, or get bored, they start to argue, blocking everyone else out of their conversation, try to cause trouble, or start wrestling and attacking at each other. Most of the time they get along quite well, however.

They're not unintelligent, merely unconcerned; they don't really apply themselves, instead spending their time with mild shenanigans, or else laying about, bored.

They have a certain animated quality about them; while not quite physics-defying like Pinkie Pie, they do have a certain knack for pulling gag items seemingly out of thin air, or else finding a way to use and manipulate their surroundings, however unlikely it may be, for their purposes.

Tag, the colt, tends to be the milder of the pair, while Rag is the fiercer.

Recently, they have found their main calling on the stage. However, they're still known to get into trouble around Ponyville.

They tend to get depressed if seperated from each other for long periods of time. They also seem to physically weaken, too. They're mildly dependant on each other.
Backstory: The Twins have lived their entire lives in Ponyville. With rather unconcerned parents and all the time in the world, Rag and Tag know nearly everybody in the area, and have had years to hone their skills in shenanigans. Recently, they've began growing bored and wandering the countryside around Ponyville, often making little excursions into the Everfree Forest. They love adventures quite as much as they love jokes and pranks.

They had no idea why their cutie marks hadn't appeared yet. They were getting well past the age they should be there, and simply couldn't understand why they didn't have their cutie marks. They were pretty good pranksters, after all. They'd even opened their own joke shop in Ponyville. It wasn't until their friend and roommate, the musician Encore, introduced them to a playwright friend that they found their true calling. Of course, they've not given up their joke shop.... It's too profitable. They've just learned to juggle their responsibilities and their mayhem a bit better.
