Personality: Rain Crasher can be kind and friendly towards others, but often steals when he pleases. This is Rain's only method of getting by, since he doesn't have a home to go to. Nopony ever suspects him as the thief and always gets away with it, but also feels guilty afterwards when she sells them off for bits. This has lead him on a path which she has taken, but Solar never knew about it; even though they agreed to be fully honest, Rain lies about what he is up to and keeps doing it; despite the chances of getting caught.

Backstory: Rain and Solar were best friends, always together; but that all changed one day when Solar unintentionally lets Rain's secret out and the guards catch wind of it. They arrest Rain and he is sentenced to prison for fifteen years for stealing Celestia's stuff(often the most valuable things he can get his hooves on). During that time he cries for his friend to come and visit, but solar neither writes or visits him and Rain falls into a state of depression. Rain's will is broken, he serves his sentence and is released. The reason for Solar not visiting him was because he promised to keep Rain's secret, but the pain of having broke it made him question if he could even face his friend in prison, but it comes on the release date when he finally gathers the courage to apologize to rain. <br /><br />Rain finally confronts his so-called friend after they release him, and he's not happy about it. Solar had broken a promise; the one thing Rain Crasher cannot forgive. Rain's words are harsh, and doesn't hold anything back; before leaving he gives Solar one solid hit to the face before leaving Canterlot for good. Their friendship ended on that day and Rain never looks back.
