Appearance: his purple coat became darker, his red and yellow mane faded to black and became longer. His horn curved off to the side of his head, like a ram's and became dark. His eyes, Once a royal purple in color, became a Dark pink almost red.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is the a rune.<br />The rune is Courage in Combat.

Personality: He has lost his sense of humor. he is more serous then before. Although he is kind and still has a little humor, he is can be some what dark and unforgiving.

Backstory: This is a different Regal then before. His story is that instead of relying on his family and living on his wealth, Instead he travels to the Crystal empire to be a scholar. While there he learns about King Sombra and his Magic.<br />Regal wants this power and seeks out any and all info and books about Sombra. <br />He stumbles across Sombra journal before becoming King. Regal reads it and sadly it is written in runes so that no pony could read it. Regal understands enough of the runes to learn where he must go to gain the power he seeks. He seeks out the place where Sombra got his power. When he finds it Power flows into him. Then Things Happen<br />Regal Opens his eyes to find unspeakable horrors and runs away from the place. Even though he knows that Sombra had stood his ground and faced the horror. The shock was too much for Regal and he fled. Regal was scarred what he saw and the power of the place also left it's mark. his purple coat became darker, his red and yellow mane faded to black and became longer,... (Just read Appearance).<br />Regal was able to escape most of the corruption that befall Sombra, but his magic from before was gone. Regal cried and cursed himself for wanting power, still the darkness that filled him was now a part of him forever. His new magic is twisted and still unclear to Regal, but now he can see in the darkness as if it was day. some of his teeth are sharp. He is still developing and understanding what his new magic is. <br />P.S he can lose himself to his power and be tempted by the promise of power, This is do to the darkness that now flows in him. He also tries to fight off the effect of this dark power to remain who he is.<br /><br />(Update)<br />he gave into his Dark Powers. He still posses a sense of nobility and honor, but in his own way. He will do what it takes to achives his goal. After being betrayed by friends who He thought wouldn't judge him based on his power. He now loves to toy with others with his powers. His power are similar to Sombra's, but He has tricks of his own that he only reveals when he believes it is needed, or just to have fun.
