Appearance: <p> Being one of the few changelings refusing to follow Thorax, Rentaus has keep his original changeling appearance. However, as an after-effect of the Canterlot invasion, his eyes have changed to a deep orange color. In addition, his military background and constant sources of food keep him well built, easily stronger than the average pegasus or unicorn member of the royal guard. </p>

Personality: <p> likes: Donuts, comedy, Autumn. Dislikes: Snakes, ignorance, and corruption. Normally is carries a serious and somewhat heartless demeanor when not putting on an act.  He enjoys social interaction, if only to debate with others over various topics.  Loves the night life and can frequently be found in night clubs. He's a proven leader though will never assume the postion unless forced to. Also, he is quite sociable. One of his few regrets is that he never did find out about the fate of the rest of his squad. </p>

Backstory: <p> X-303 was born in the hive ruled by Queen Chrysalis and early on in his life assigned the role of an officer after his sharp wit and excellent martial prowess when to keen int . He was in-charged with the command of a spec op known as the "Night Lords". His  and martial prowess  soon gained a requation of good commander. S he was often reprimanded by his superiors for being too friendly with the Changelings under his command.<br /> During the Battle of Canterlot, he and his squad were given the role of the queen's bodyguard Queen Chrysalis and as a result were at epicenter of the shield that expelled the Changelings from Canterlot. Awaken slowly and near death, he found himself at sword-point by a stallion. At that point, X-303 had accepted what he believed to be his fate and closed his eyes, though was surprised when after a few minutes he was suddenly lifted up. Opening his eyes, he had discovered that the stallion had instead of killing had lifted him up and and had carried him back to his camp.<br /> After having his wounds tended by the stallion, X-303 remained guarded. Eventually discovering that the stallion, Red Guard, was a former medic when the Royal Guard that had been temporarily enlisted to assist with the mop up operations against the Changelings. Realizing that Red had not only spared him, but disobeyed direct orders in the process. X-303 took it upon himself to repay him by coming along with him in his travels under the new name Renatus, which meant reborn in ancient Changeling.<br /> The two eventually became good friends, having many misadventures in their travels. Though eventually, Renatus became tired of their nomadic lifestyle and after a sad farewell, left Blacklight and settled down in the city of Baltimare, where he works as a private investigator. Making use of his keen intellice and shape-shifting abilities to build to help the citizens of Baltimare as well as establish underground connections within the city. </p> <p> Note: Currently a work in progress </p>
