Cutie Mark: A chess rook, because he as very good a analyzing situations and thinking ahead of the badpony. He also plays a mean game of chess.

Personality: He is rather quiet. He likes to look around try to make sense of everything. He likes to play chess and get the thrill of outsmarting another pony. Ponies think he is crazy because he often talks to himself. His flaw is that he often over analyzes simple situations and can judge ponies to quickly.

Backstory: Rook was a bit of a loner growing up, so he passed the time talking to imaginary ponies who were his only friends. He found his passion for outsmarting other ponies in chess, and that is how he got his cutie mark. He never actually stopped talking to his imaginary ponies, so ponies think he is crazy when he is actually quite sane. He tends to spend most of his time writing novels and playing chess.
