Personality: Very hospitable. Seemingly open in conversation, but in fact doesn't talk about her past much. Not in light of tragedy, but just not wanting to reveal much. Can get on rants really quite easily if she's distracted. Tries to be chivalrous even when it's not needed or appropriate. Dreams of finding her own perfect Stallion, having foals, the whole ensemble. In this case she is, quite expectedly, a hopeless romantic.

Backstory: Nothing spectacular in her past, a quiet life in Ponyville, mostly by herself. Her parents had to move away due to knowledge about the changeling attack on Canterlot, and Rose understands this well, and is not bothered by it. Rose's nanny passed away when she was 17, and since then she has been serving soup in the market in Ponyville to get by. Business isn't extraordinary, but she's happy.
