Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a ruby (not surprisingly) and it represents her desire to 'shine' by expressing her opinions and getting noticed in society.

Personality: Ruby Gleam is quite shy around ponies she doesn't know, but once she is comfortable around someone, she becomes a real chatterbox!<br />She makes a living by telling stories and giving arguments through writing and also likes to paint pictures and read books. She is often wandering off without permission so she can explore the world around her, and loves to watch the pegasi flying in the sky. She sometimes wishes she had been born a pegasus.<br />Her mother says she is a lovely and gentle pony who is great company to have.

Backstory: Ruby Gleam originally lived in Fillydelphia with her mother, Honeydew, and her brother, Racklewind, but moved to Ponyville not long ago to have a fresh start. <br />Her father left the family when she was very young so she has never really known who he is.<br />She is a big admirer of Rainbow Dash, Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six since she found out a while ago how they saved Equestria many times, and has looked up to them ever since.
