Personality: she's energetic and a kind pony with an eye for gemstones she's like rarity only a lot less snobby. and not afraid to get her hooves dirty. she's also a very curious pony

Backstory: ruby was born in cloudsdale like every other pegasi she's a pretty fast flier but not near as fast as rainbow dash. she usally goes to rarity and buy gems off her so she can make her jewelry more pretty. soon they became great friends ruby is not a overly popular jewelry maker but she makes a medium size profit out it. she hopes she can sell her crafts on canterlot where everypony dresses in fashion.
