Personality: the strong silent type. he rarely shows affection towards other, and gets nervous around mares.<br /><br />he shows a lot of pride in his strength, and also takes pride in caliber's prowess in combat. although all he did was train caliber physically.<br /><br />he will generally stay out of a conversation, commonly trying to even fade out of the scene altogether. but, when asked directly, he will give his take on the current situation.

Backstory: he was born and raised in his native land. but he was cast out for choosing his bare hooves over zebra magic. he came to equestria, seeking a new life. he made himself a home in a forest. (not the everfree, mind you) he has stayed there, hunting game and living life as he pleased.<br /><br />until the fateful day when caliber stumbled into the forest, lost. he was only 9 years old at the time, so ruk took him in. it soon dawned on him that caliber would need training, to survive the roads, and thats just what he did. <br /><br />he acted as caliber's coach, training him all day and sometimes all night, until caliber's frame was stronger then most naturally kids his size. ruk also taught him some basic martial arts, in case his strength wasnt enough. <br /><br />content with the boy's progress, he let him continue his traveling.
