Appearance: Okay explaining the pic:<br />Top one is Rune Breaker, he cracked his horn when he was little. He is the skinny, slender, athletic type. It's not in the pic but he wears horseshoes <br /><br />Bottom one is Knightfall, his teeth become sharper and he becomes more muscled and brawny though his size does not change. His hide becomes thick and the green come through is the starting formation of scales.

Cutie Mark: Both retain the same cutie mark of three stones with runes carved into their surface. So 3 runestones.

Personality: Rune Breaker has always been more of a runner than a fighter. He dislikes confrontation and is a bit of a door mat, who will quietly let other be the center of attention. That's okay with him though he doesn't like attention focus on him. But when push comes to shove Rune Breaker will stand up for himself, others in danger, and his beliefs. Two things he won't stand for 1. making fun of his broken horn 2. Bad mouthing Runic Magic<br /><br />Knightfall is bloodthirsty and ruthless. The heartless soul of a dragon who was once a tyrant-king of a huge brood of dragons. He wants the world to kneel before him once more. He respects strength, brutality and cruelty. Show him respect and maybe he'll let you crawl away to live another day... maybe.

Backstory: Rune Breaker has been on a quest all his life. He wanted nothing more than to heal his horn. The cracks stung constantly and made any sort of magic use would cause him extreme pain and the breaks to grow. <br /><br />When he was still just a colt, at the point where he had blocked out his own magic completely, his father brought him a strange ring to go over his horn. This ring soothed the stinging cracks and let him use small amounts of magic with no pain or risk of making it worse. He found he could use normal magic with out the cracks getting worse but would still feel the pain.<br /><br />Curious as to what this ring was and if he could find a way to make it work better, he began diligent research and study. He uncovered the mostly forgotten magic of runes. Long considered outdated do to direct magic that unicorns use. The marks made required an initial amount of magic but then draws magic from Equestria itself! The longer a rune sits inactive the more power it gathers.<br /><br />By the age of 15 he had become adept in runic magic able to use his magic or his hooves to make a rune and active it in a variety of ways. At that time he ran out of information on runes in Equestrian Libraries and still had no way to heal his horn. So he set out to the old ruins of Equestra and beyond searching for remnants of the ancient magic.<br /><br />It was after 10 years of his travels and explorations that he came upon something horrible. In a ruin of a long past Draconian Kingdom he was captured by a Cult of Dragons. They planned to preform a ritual that would sacrifice him and us his body as portal for the old Dragon lord. <br /><br />Rune Breaker was able to interrupt the ritual part way through using more magic then he knew he had available he activate a large amount of runes and collapsed the already weak temple ruins.<br /><br />He passed out from the pain of it, and had nightmarish dreams, but he awoke safe outside the rubble. A fatally would dragon had carried him out and laid next to him dying. The dragons last words were "my life for you, my eternal lord" and a gust of hot air. Not strong enough to breath fire his dying breath still seared across Runes soul a cold fire. When the icy burning stopped he heard the voice yelling in his skull. The Ritual hadn't been done correctly but it was enough to bring the soul of the dragon Knightfall into his body.<br /><br />The two now battle for dominance of the body, a dysfunctional team at best for if the body dies both of their souls will be lost. Their search leads them in the same direction, a spell or way to banish the other into the afterlife. <br /><br />So they have come to the tournament to win that wish. The problem is should the goal be reached who will destroy who?<br /><br />
