Backstory: <p> Salem was born in a some what wealthy family. She grew up knowing death. Her mother died when she was only 3 years old to a mysterious disease. Three years later her big brother James Hooves died by the same mysterious disease. She was raised by her father, Ace Hooves. Salem was able to start seeing ghost after her big brother Bandit Hooves died. Her father did not question it at all and tried his daughter understand what she could do. When she was 16 she left her dad and went to go seek out the paranormal and help the lost spirits of ponies.  </p>
