Sallie Cinnamon Apple
By Tao
Age: 24-30
Gender: Female
Species: Earth Pony
Appearance: In built, Sallie would be much like a real world's Irish Draft Horse Breed, a strong back with clean and cut shoulders and strong hind legs and a wide chest, she fits much the built of Apple earth ponies build to work hard and live hard. A bit larger than most females by a good full two hands in her strong shoulders, she has a mean kick in front and back. Yet the mare also has a graceful neck with she at times called a bit swan like in depending on her mood and pose, she has a bold eyes the color a deep violet , set well-apart but framed by glasses for reading , long, well-set ears with a sharp point crown her head, and a wide forehead kissed by a simple star.

Sallie is a deep chocolate like brown, with a crown of a mane in slight curl that moves and flows with a healthy bounce and shine. Her mane is mostly free minus a braid on each side for some taste. Thick but strong hooves of a blue hue are kept clean and polished.
Cutie Mark: Cutie Mark: Sallie's Cutie Mark has nothing to do with Apples like most of her family or anything apple like but is a simple bright flower in full bloom that has a inner glow. Her older sister Garland once said the cutie mark looked like a Fire-flower which only grows after a fire has passed through a field and the first sign of new life after a wake of flames.

Sallie as a young filly seemed to have the lack of a green hoof unlike most her family, often watching the plants she tried to grow just seem to dye. Both her parents and older sister were a bit off noted by a member of a Apple clan not able to grow things but also in Sallie hating farm work! After her leg got broke from loose branch falling on it, the little odd-ending filly found herself with a season and a stack of books! Sallie buried herself in books in finding questions and the need to find the answers, it was seeing she had a knack for research and finding answers that Sallie had her cutie mark appear one day!

She had bloomed under the need for knowledge!

Backstory: Sallie as a young filly seemed to have the lack of a green hoof unlike most her family, often watching the plants she tried to grow just seem to dye. Both her parents and older sister were a bit off noted by a member of an Apple clan not able to grow things but also in Sallie hating farm work! After her leg got broke from loose branch falling on it, the little odd-ending filly found herself with a season and a stack of books! Sallie buried herself in books in finding questions and the need to find the answers, it was seeing she had a knack for research and finding answers that Sallie had her cutie mark appear one day!

Seeing her knack for books and research, the young mare took a side job at the local bookshop known as the “Tea Stop” when not helping on the family farm. Sallie was happy being around books and finding answers to questions to anyone who asked for some help! Soon word spread of her talent for knowledge seeking and many a pony and other came to see her for help.

Now some things change around the age 19 for the book mare given she was much bigger and stronger than a lot of ponies around her. Her younger brother Sling shoot had gotten lost late in the evening and a search party was made of the family and friends to find the colt! Worried, Sallie had learned much from tracking via her books and found herself alone on the edge of the woods in hearing him cry out and the known howl of timber-wolves.

Not caring if she died, the mare ran to the aid of her brother who was corner by two large timber-wolves. Having read books on not only battle but fighting, Sallie went head long into the battle with the wolves as her brother watched in wonder of his nerdy sister kicking wolf butt with a calmed rage of kicks and almost dancing on her hooves in sharp movements in the front. Thankfully Sallie's practice in fighting hoof to hoof and size drove the wolves away and saved the day!

Taking brother in tow back to home, his tale of his sister fighting the wolves spread like wildfire among the family. Reaching the ears of a blacksmith unicorn and mercenary known as Rune. Finding the mare at her job, Rune truthful told her she wanted the farm horse to join her mercenary group! Sallie being a bit taken back by the older female's was to say no till Rune explain her full reasons why and her own back story.

Sallie after listening said yes. This was the start of a lifelong friendship with Rune and her friend Dragonblood as the three made the Seekers and made a name for themselves which is some other tale told. After a while, she took a job in the Crystal Empire Library as a librarian and chronicler for meetings. Finding one day in taking notes for the Queen of the Empire herself: Cadence!

Now this was a bit unnerving in being in a royal meeting yet she did her job in taking all notes and just the truth but also side notes. Cadence over looked the notes after the meeting with a blushing Sallie and was more than happy in her talent and side notes and made her own personal Chronicler for all meetings and asking her on feedback in happy to see Sallie was full of detailed wisdom and insertions and advice to the Queen with out holding back or lying to her like some might have done. The two made a friendship in their talks.

Having found a calling in life, and many good friends the once farm mare is mostly happy minus now at age 24 having some adventures now just needs a stallion friend...
