Appearance: A dark green unicorn with blue and yellow mane and tail. While not pictured here, he also carries around a sword in a sheath (the sword is the one in my avatar).

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is based on the first sword he ever made, and represents not only his skill in blacksmithing, but also his skill in swordfighting.

Personality: He always will put others needs before himself, feeling that he is more of a protector, yet will try to talk peacefully with others instead of fighting if it's possible. Even as a blacksmith, he will always make what's asked of him to the finest detail, no matter the cost.

Backstory: Salt Slice was born to Fuego Fey, his mother, and Tremor Stone, his father, in Ponyville. <br /><br />His mother, a unicorn, was a blacksmith, and was able to take any metal and make it into what was needed. She gained credibility throughout Ponyville, but instead of being the star of attention, she would just go through her day-to-day duties. <br /><br />His father, a pegasus, was skilled in the finding of salt and other minerals, and had even perfected a drilling technique to easily get to any minerals without breaking them.<br /><br />Both mother and father had friendly competitions with others, and Salt Slice had that trait as well during childhood until one day when he challenged another pony to a swordfighting duel, but the other pony thought he meant a magic duel, and Salt Slice had gotten blasted back before he could correct the situation. He was thankfully only bruised, but the shock got to him and caused him to not want to be as competitive anymore.<br /><br />After the shock, he started hanging out more with his mother, who helped teach him how to blacksmith. It wasn't too long before he had made his first blade, and inspired by a dress his mother had gotten from a designer in Ponyville, he made an emerald overblade, and a purple and orange hilt. It wasn't until he had finally gotten the sword together fully that his cutie mark appeared.<br /><br />It's now years later, and Salt has taken over his mother's blacksmith business after she retired. His father helps out in the mining industry, and while the two occasionally see each other, it's not for very long. Salt continues to make what's needed, even adding extra touches to help out. In his spare time, he continues to make swords, and even has gotten the attention from Manehatten and Canterlot for his craftsmanship.
