Appearance: Tall and slender, Scarlet's bright mane and almost white coat aren't quite a true reflection of her personality. She has a thick, heavy mane which hangs in an almost-windswept look around her head.<br /><br />She takes care of her appearance and is proud of her looks - though her scowling face doesn't tend to help. Scarlet often wears a rose in her mane.

Cutie Mark: A red rose - a beautiful flower which is also known for its thorns.

Personality: Scarlet tends to be a bit of a loner - she often feels like she is the only sane pony in what we group she is with, and can become sulky. She can often be self entitled and dismissive of others, and even though this isn't out of spite, it can often be interpreted in such a way.<br /><br />She gets irritated with others very easily and isn't above letting them know, though this will usually be through a less than direct approach involving copious muttering, eye rolling and sarcasm. While she actually enjoys life more than she lets on, she fears that having fun isn't 'cool' and so she tries to show this as little as possible.<br /><br />She enjoys creative things - music, art, writing... and is likewise very good at a number of crafts herself. She has an astounding singing voice, though trying to get her to use it is next to impossible. Singing isn't 'cool' after all.

Backstory: The sister of Redwave and cousin of Scribe Shield and Wish Scribe, Scarlet lived with her parents for a long while before going on to higher education: despite her very vocal reluctance. She studies literature and - while she might deny it with a passion - enjoys it immensely. Living in a shared accommodation with friends, this student manages to somehow maintain her social fluttering despite her focused studies.
